The prompt library

This is the page behind the code on your Handoff card. It holds every prompt, the steps for getting a page off your device, and help if something does not work.

Last updated 1 November 2026.

Three steps

From page to next step in under a minute.

  1. Get the page off your deviceExport it from your device app as a PDF or image. If that is awkward, take a straight photograph, flat and in good light, one page per photo.
  2. Open your assistantChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot. Attach the export or the photograph.
  3. Paste the prompt for the page you are holdingThe footer of each page names its handoff and the hint above it names the prompt. Tick CAPTURED on the page once it has been handed off.

Prompts

Every prompt, as printed

The letters match the Handoff card in your file. Copy a prompt, paste it under your page, and edit it as you like.

The 2027 Diary

UK, US and worldwide editions. Five prompts, one for each review.

A The year page, before January

Act as a sceptical adviser. Is this headline specific, measurable and dated? Do the four quarters add up to it? What is missing, and which assumption would you challenge first?

B Monday and Friday, the week

Monday: here is this week's page and last Friday's review. What carries over, and are the three must-wins the right three? Friday: here is Monday's page and today's review. Write the review in my words in four lines, and name one change for next week.

C Month end

Here is the month's goals page and the experiment. Did the experiment work, on the measure I wrote down? Which of the three goals moved, and what should next month's three be?

D Quarter start and quarter end

Start: does this quarter serve the headline, and are three goals and these projects realistic for the people available? End: mark each goal done, partly or not from what I wrote, and draft next quarter's three.

E December

Here are the year page, the four quarter reviews and the year review. Tell me the story of the year in a page, what to carry into next year, and what not to repeat.

The To-Do Page

The 3:4 lists for reMarkable, Montblanc and iPad.

A The list, any time

Read this handwritten to-do list. Sort it into: do today, do this week, delegate or ask, and drop. Then tell me the one item that unblocks the most others.

B End of day

Here is today's list with ticks. Carry the unfinished items into tomorrow's list, drop anything that has been carried three times, and write tomorrow's top three.

C A week of lists

Here are seven lists. What kept being carried forward, and what does that tell me about the plan rather than the day?

The To-Do Page for Paper Pro Move

The 16:9 lists for the reMarkable Paper Pro Move.

A One list

Sort this list into today, this week and someone else's. Flag anything that is a project in disguise. Give it back as a list in my words.

B The week's lists

Here are this week's lists. What was carried forward more than twice, and what should I drop or delegate?

Prompts for each new Fairhand pack are added here when it goes on sale.

Device guides

Getting a page off your device

reMarkable
Open the page, tap Share, then Send by email as PDF or PNG. Or use the reMarkable desktop or mobile app.
iPad
In GoodNotes or Notability, share the page as an image straight into the ChatGPT or Claude app.
Montblanc Digital Paper
Export from the Montblanc app. Links inside the PDF work on the device; links out of it do not.
Any device
A straight, well-lit photograph of the screen works everywhere.

Before you send a page

Nothing is sent anywhere unless you send it.

An export or photograph goes to the AI provider you choose, under that provider's terms. Nothing leaves your tablet until you attach it yourself.

Before you hand off a page, cross out anything you would not put in an email: passwords, card numbers, or other people's personal details.

Help

If something does not work

  • Links do nothing. Tap the tabs and links with a fingertip. On reMarkable and Montblanc the pen draws rather than navigates.
  • Tabs are on the wrong side. Each download has right and left-handed files. The file name says which, and whether the week starts on Monday or Sunday.
  • The assistant misreads your writing. Export the page rather than photograph it, or photograph it flat in daylight, then ask the assistant to list anything it could not read.
  • Still stuck. Email hello@fairhand.studio or message the shop on Etsy. If a file does not work on your device, it will be put right within 24 hours.

A review on Etsy helps more than anything.

Reviews are how other people with a reMarkable or an iPad find these pages.
